Bruce Lee

Bruce Lee was most notably remembered as an actor and the founder of Jeet Kune Do. He is well respected for his contributions to the martial arts community and for films such as Enter the Dragon (1973).

Bruce was born in San Francisco on November 27th 1940. In 1941 his family moved to Hong Kong where he grew up. In 1959, Bruce moved back to the United States and finished high school in Edison Washington. After graduating he attended the University of Washington where he met his wife Linda Emery. Bruce and Linda had two children, Brandon Lee and Shannon Lee.

On July 20th 1973, Bruce complained of a head ache and laid down to take a nap. Unfortunately he never woke up. Bruce passed away from cerebral edema when he was just 32 years old.

Brandon Lee was born February 1st 1965 in Oakland California. Like his father, he too was a martial arts expert and actor. In 1994, while filming the Crow, Brandon was accidentally shot and killed on the set. He was only 28 years old. Both Bruce and Brandon Lee are buried next to each other in Seattle?s Lakeview Cemetery.
