Seattle Central Library
1000 Fourth Ave
Seattle, WA 98104
(206) 386-4636

The Seattle Central Library is a great representation of Seattle’s artistic culture. On the outside its modern design takes on the shape of an abnormal glass Rubik’s cube. Inside, light shines through its 9994 pieces of glass. You can see views of the nearby buildings and Elliot bay. Many works of art display some type of shock value. In the library this comes in the form of the neon green and yellow escalators that transport its guests up and down its 11 floors.

The library is located on fourth and Madison in downtown Seattle. It has 400 computers, wireless internet and around a million books written in various languages. The library also has an underground parking garage which allows you to park free for the first 20 minutes. If you plan on staying longer you can find the latest parking rates here.
