Woodland park zoo was opened in 1899 and has close to 1100 animals representing close to 300 different species. Its 92 acres are broken into exhibits of different natural habitats making the park at times seem like you?re really in the wilderness. Some of the exhibits include the Tropical Rain Forest Zone, the African Savanna Exhibit and Bug World. They also have a vintage Carousel that was hand crafted in 1918.
